Luke Richards UK/US nationality composer based in London. He recently scored the 2023 mini series Six Four, based on the bestseller by Hideo Yokoyama and directed by BAFTA nominated director Ben A. Williams. He has also co-scored, alongside David Buckley, two Harlan Coben novel adaptations for Netflix; Fool Me Once, starring Michelle Keegan, Adeel Akhtar and Joanna Lumley and Stay Close, starring Cush Jumbo, James Nesbitt and Eddie Izzard. Fool Me Once is currently the seventh most watched English language Netflix show of all time.

He has also worked with Oscar winning composer Rachel Portman, providing additional arrangements and programming for the Disney film, Godmothered. And with composer Steve Jablonsky, writing additional music for both Transfomers: The Last Knight, starring Mark Wahlberg and Anthony Hopkins, and Skyscraper. Luke also contributed additional arrangements for John Powell and David Buckley’s score for Paul Greengrass’s Jason Bourne.

His feature film work includes writing the score for The Gettysburg Address starring Matthew Broderick and Oscar nominated actor David Strathairn, and eHero, starring Sean Astin (Lord of the Rings, Stranger Things). His music for Remembering the Fallen won Best Original Score at the Los Angeles Movie Awards. 

Luke’s break into the industry began when he moved to Los Angeles to work for composer Harry Gregson-Williams. Subsequently he was based out of Hans Zimmer’s studio, Remote Control Productions, where he worked for composer David Buckley on high profile film and television projects, including American Hustle, The Good Wife and Call of Duty: Ghosts.

His music has been recorded at Abbey Road Studios, The Eastwood Scoring Stage at Warner Bros, The Newman Scoring Stage at 20th Century Fox and the Synchron Stage in Vienna.
